What's On This Week | 5th–11th October 2026

It might be a quieter week on the BRCA calendar, but there's still plenty to race for as the 2026 Large Scale Off Road National Series reaches its final round of the season.

This weekend, drivers head to Nene Valley Raceway for Round 8, with the National Championship joined by the final Northern and Southern Regional round.

Large Scale Off Road National Series – Round 8

Nene Valley Raceway Off Road Model Car Club

The 2026 LSOR season comes to a close this weekend with two days of racing at Nene Valley.

Three classes will be competing:

2WD Buggy
For 2WD large scale buggies with engines up to 26cc.

4WD Buggy
For 4WD large scale buggies with engines up to 32cc.

Short Course
For 2WD and 4WD large scale short course trucks with engines up to 32cc.

The National Championship has been contested across eight rounds this year, with each driver's best five scores counting towards their final championship position.

There's even more at stake this weekend, with Nene Valley also hosting Round 4 of both the Northern and Southern Regional Series. The final regional round carries double points towards the regional championships, so there's everything to play for as the season reaches its conclusion.

Racing begins from 8:00am on Saturday 10th October and continues through to Sunday 11th October.

All competitors require a valid BRCA licence and vehicles must comply with the 2026 construction rules.
